Our Judges

Chris Leblanc CEO Superior Airways Limited
I started with Northern Waterworks Inc. (NWI) in 1997. This was our first company, in what was to become a conglomerate of family owned companies. I began as an Operator-In-Training, working my way through Field Services manager and other positions, until my eventual retirement as Vice President in 2019; upon acquisition of NWI by the Ste St Marie Public Utilities Corporation (PUC).
NWI achieved peak revenues of almost $15M per year; and oversaw more than $500M in capital assets for our clients. We provided oversight of Municipal and First Nation water and wastewater systems in Ontario. NWI provided water training to all First Nations, as well as oversaw the Federal Government's 24/7 Emergency Response program for all 121-First Nations in the Province. We further provided inspection and assessments of all First Nation water and wastewater systems annually. My main role, was oversight of the First Nation division, responsible for the above stated programs.
Through 1997 till present, we expanded our reach into various industries and sectors in the region. In 2004 we purchased Medicine Stone Resort and Outposts. This was followed-up with the acquisition of Superior Airways In 2009. From there, we further expanded into gold and mineral resource exploration, through the formation of Bounty Gold Corp in 2012. Once completed, since we had an abundance of spare time on our hands, we also completed the purchase of both Chimo Airways and Chimo Lodge and Outposts, during the spring of 2018.
The acquisition of Chimo Airways was too augment Superior Airways float operations, which were based out of Howey Bay; further solidifying our position in this market through increasing barriers to entry.
Chimo Lodge and Outposts were the single largest client of Chimo Airways; therefore we also purchased that asset, to further secure our revenue streams and solidify our projections.
